We went to Montana de Oro. It is one of the most beautiful places ever. My old roommate and good friend, Amy, was camping there with her boyfriend so we happily made the trek out to visit. It was a beautiful day. Not only is Montana de Oro gorgeous but the drive in is too! Stella spent most of her time snoozing on the beach while I covered her up like Michael Jackson did to his children. I can't imagine taking care of a sunburned baby. The thought of the fussiness makes me anxious.
In other Taber news, I decided to try and feed Stella some breast milk with a spoon. I thought it would be smart to get her somewhat use to the idea before the actual eating begins. The first couple times she didn't know what to think, most of it still went down. But by the third try she was grabbing the spoon out of my hand and feeding herself. And by feeding I mean shaking all the milk out and putting the empty spoon in her mouth. Two words; control freak.
Go ahead and giggle at her facial expression.... I did. |
I have two questions: Where did my crusty footed baby go? How have I let 16 weeks go by so quickly?
I think this picture was from the morning after Stella was born. That little 7lb body. |
Now she is jumping all over and squealing like a little piggy. That sweet face makes me melt. |
