appreciation.

Jared,

I don't think thank you is a good enough word. I heard your mom calling for you today... saying she loves you... saying she wants you back. I don't think that sound will ever leave my memory. I am honored to have had you in my life for so many years. I am honored that you chose to sacrifice your life for me and my family. You were a brave, loving, funny, and loyal man. Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.

I was reminded yesterday how precious and sweet life is. I am so thankful for today. I am so thankful for my family and for my friends and for my time I have here on this strange earth. I hugged Stella extra long and extra firm today. I don't want to sound dramatic but I want to remind all of you to embrace life, to embrace your loved ones and to be thankful for the troops doing a job that we choose not to do. Jared left behind an extremely sweet and loving family. He left behind his 18 month old son and his kind wife. Jared, I promise to never take my family, your family or time for granite. I will miss you and love you always.
